the summer night, long anxious and humid.
wake up with a swollen jaw,
and i dont know why its swollen.
bruises and faults are the only parts of me growing.
the sheets stink and the sun is hot in the window.
lamps and electronics shut off by themselves.
spiny heartburn and the shower wont stream.
i'm sure its all a sign that i am deteriorating
along with my surroundings.
