lyrics

there once was a man,
a man much like any man
but unlike any man to himself
he'd analyze every word
he pushed himself torpidly round
in a wheelbarrow all his life
until he came to a mountaintop
rather than take a free shot at the beauty around
he kept fixed and dazedly wondered if he'd feel the pain of his end
he slid into the valley below
like a spoon in a jello mold
now he's stuck in there growing older
