a jellyfish, dried and bland,

that favorite friend forgot your name
the moment you laid your lips upon her skin.

what seems so true gets buried in the sand.
the beach, a sad defensive spirit.

with your hand gliding over her waist the loss is never expected.
eyelashes batting always expect the sting.
